With recession and recycling on
our minds, the Frock Swap is a great way to watch your budget and protect our
planet. Plus, the swap is being held
in the beautiful Stoutridge Vineyard in Marlboro, NY where you can sip wine and
shop to your heart’s content! Admission
is $20 and includes: wine tastings, hors d'oeuvres and entry into swap.
How it works
The process is straightforward… you bring your fashion items that you are ready
to part with and swap them for something else that is more fabulous for you! On hand to help you decide what’s fitting on
your body and what’s not is Jacqueline Peros, a NYC Image and Style Expert.
A few rules
- In order to join the swap, you
must bring at least one good saleable fashion item.
- For each item you bring, you
get to swap for another.
- Apparel should be in good “saleable” condition,
cleaned, ironed and on hangers (stained or damaged, unwashed, dog / cat hair
covered items will not be accepted)!
- Sleepwear, undergarments,
hosiery and questionable “loungewear” will NOT be accepted.
- Any leftover items will be
donated to The Grace Smith House, a non-profit organization for women.
- Have fun and enjoy the new look
you’ll leave with!
