I am at a loss for what to do now.  But, I’m not going to spend too much time mourning.  I have got to figure something out.  And, I’ve got to see if I can find something good about this major disappointment.  However, first thing I’m going to do is call Radio Stations WAAA and WBBB to check in.

I reach the sales manager at WAAA.  (I’m going to call him Sam.)  Sam is a great guy. He’s happy hearing from me.  I ask him if I’ll run into him at a press conference the next day.  He didn’t know anything about it, so I give him the details.  He’s going to try to make it.  Good, I think I’ve got the chance to have another face-to-face with Sam. 

I leave messages for both guys at WBBB but I don’t hear back from them immediately.  It’s okay.  I’m starting to think the corporate world is definitely not for me.  I had forgotten how much I don’t like that environment.  An independent station is much more my style. 

My spirits are starting to pick up and I’m looking forward to the press conference tomorrow and the chance to see Sam again.
