Life is both Light and Dark - Interview Seven: Radio Station Group WCCC I arrive a few minutes ahead of time all excited about my interview with Bob and eager to work for a company with several stations. Bob had said he had about 30 minutes to spend with me and we talk for 45. I had noticed my resume on his desk with a big A written up in the corner. The interview goes great and Bob tells me I’ve made it on to the next round. Okay, what’s the next round? He gives me a case study and asks me to develop a sales presentation and write a radio script for the next meeting. I can take as long as I want to develop the pitch, but I’m eager so going to do it ASAP. I see Paul on my way out and tell him that I’ll be writing the presentation over the weekend. Paul said he had heard Bob was doing this, but this was the first time for him. We agree I’ll give him a call to schedule the presentation because Bob told me I would present to both of them and perhaps a third person. I spend my entire weekend writing and editing the presentation and radio script. I’m very good at giving presentations so feel confident I’ve got this nailed. I ask a good friend of mine and great editor to check it over and she makes some terrific edits, which I incorporate into it. I’m ready. I call Paul and schedule the presentation for Tuesday afternoon.
